From the central region of Rwanda comes our KIZI RIFT blend, produced by Buf Cafe at the Nyarusiza Washing Station. Buf Cafe began operating in the year 2000 after the receipt of funding aid from the Rwandan Development Bank and USAID’s PEARL project.

From the Nyamasheke District in the Southwest corner of Rwanda comes KIVU LAKE, a dark roast coffee with notes of chocolate, jasmine, blackberries, and herbs.

MUHAZI is one of our two dark roast coffees, from the Coffee Villages Farmer Cooperative in the Gatsibo District of eastern Rwanda. This region is characterized by a large lake and surrounding wildlife, lending deep notes of chocolate, caramel, and earthiness to the beans.

Hailing from the northwest corner of Rwanda, in the mountain region of Virunga, VIRUNGA is a deliciously spiced coffee perfect for espresso or for pour-over/drip. Tasting notes for this region include mixed fruit and caramel, with a clear brightness and the body and flavor of the country's smoothest honey.

Akagera COCAMU comes from a cooperative in the Kirehe District in the Eastern Province of Rwanda. With a syrupy, honey-sweet body, cinnamon spiciness that comes out strong in both pour-overs and espresso, and notes of caramel and chocolate, this is definitely one of our most recommended coffees.

This is the perfect coffee to drink on a chilly morning. It has a rich and smooth taste, and it is made from Arabica beans. The beans are then roasted at a medium to dark level to give them their signature taste. The aroma is very aromatic and there are notes of honey and caramel in the taste.

This is a coffee bean that is roasted a little lighter than most coffee beans, so it's not too dark and it's not too light. It is just right. The light roast coffee beans are also great for those who are new to the world of coffee. 

Coffee beans, just as they sound, are the seeds from which the drink is made. Dark roasted coffee beans are roasted until they are a deep, rich brown color. The flavor of these beans is said to be smoky, and their caffeine content is stronger than light roasted beans.
